Place Matters: A North Calgary Project

Co-create a healthy future for your community!

Join Vivo and Parks Foundation on Saturday, October 15 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. for the kick off of Place Matters: A North Calgary Project.

We will be engaging the community to listen and learn from the residents in North Central Calgary. We want to know the places and groups you feel included in and have strong connections to, what creates a prosperous community and what do you value about your favorite neighbourhood places.

Your insights will help enhance current and future outdoor and public spaces across the community.

You’re invited to:

  • Learn about Vivo’s expansion coming in 2023 and share your wishes for future experiences, services and programs.
  • Enjoy FREE play activities from Vivo’s Play Ambassador team and food from Calgary Food Trucks.
  • Join 1 of 2 bus tours to network with other local community leaders and business owners. Visit celebrated community sites in person to have a deeper conversation on vibrant and healthy communities.
  • Share your stories on where you feel most connected in your community with OMNI TV Host & Digital Educator, Brian Wong.

Event runs from 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. at Vivo (11950 Country Village Link NE, West Parking Lot)
