Details About Your Vivo Membership

Continuous Memberships will automatically be placed on hold as of 10pm on November 30, 2021 and your credit card will not be charged until your pass is reactivated. Existing memberships that are already on hold will remain on hold.

10x passes, childcare passes, skate passes are sold as non-refundable products.   All pre-paid passes expire November 30, 2021; however, under the current circumstances, since you are not able to use such passes until expansion completion in early 2023, you have the option of putting unused portions into credit on account for up to 24-months that must be used by December 31, 2023.  Please contact with any questions.

An improved online and registration experience!

We will be implementing a new and improved facility management system.  As we know more, we will communicate what the process will be to set up your account in the new system.

Existing Credits

Existing credits on account will be extended for 24-months until December 31, 2023. Credits can be donated at any time to Vivo’s charity to help contribute to Vivo’s expansion; for more details visit

Credits on account may be applied to any items that Vivo is offering.  For example, a program credit can be applied to future membership, a rental booking, or summer camps.

We are excited to be reviewing our membership structure – more details mid 2022.  There will be more and different offers and more flexible membership options to allow you to choose what best fits your life.

  • Community Enhancement Fee ($50) for the Continuous Pass is being waived for new memberships

For members, pre-book your spot on the MyWellness App.

For non-members, see below for instructions, you cannot pre-book ahead of time because you have to check-in at Guest Services.


  • Practice 3 meters of physical distancing from all staff and other guests at all times.
  • Masks are mandatory inside.
  • Follow all directional signage.


  • All drop-in classes and to reserve time in areas at Vivo must now be pre-booked on the ‘MyWellness app’.
  • You can book an experience up to 72 hours in advance and until the experience start time if space is available.


Do you need to pause your membership? Don’t worry about cancelling it, you can put your payments on hold until you are back and using the facility.

Facility & Customer Experience Enhancement Fee

Customer Description: Vivo is a self-sustaining Charity. This one-time, non-refundable fee directly supports our Members’ experience within the Facility.  This fee is used to support investments in equipment repair and maintenance, new equipment, accessibility, technology, or other building and experience enhancements.  Vivo is operating the facility on behalf of the City of Calgary.  As such Vivo is not part of the City of Calgary’s budget.


  • Access to everything at Vivo- online, in-person, at home and in the community.
  • Unlimited 24/7 access to LIVE and pre-recorded fitness classes and workout clips on Virtual Vivo.
  • Vivo’s MyWellness App to track your daily personal activity and pre-book your spot in any group fitness class or drop-in fitness, swim, skate and gym opportunities. (currently paused)
  • Complimentary group fitness classes to enhance your well-being.
  • 15% off registered programs like swim, skate, camps, education, fitness and more.
  • A referral bonus is available for sharing with friends.

Any member of the household with the same address.  Our Vivo family can be anyone who resides within the home with the same address on a Government-issued ID and can include up to 4 adults. Government ID must show the same address for all members on the account.

The primary passholder will receive an email from Technogym (the MyWellness app partner) with a link to activate their account.

Pre-book your Vivo experiences  You can now book Family/Cohort Experiences.     If individuals on your family pass would like to book individual experiences.     Vivo will have to add them to your account. You will have to email the following information: 

  • Full Name 
  • Birthday 
  • Gender 
  • Membership Number 

  Once added, all individuals can prebook their Vivo experiences  

Parent or guardian will have to fill out a one-time waiver for everyone under the age of 18.    Then you can prebook your spot for Vivo Experiences.    Please note:   Drop-in gym and fitness are for ages 13+

  • For ages 12+ we require a government identification
  • Vivo staff will add you to our program system
  • We require all members of your party to be registered in our system and follow the healthy habit protocols. Forms are available online on your phone.
  • Please arrive 15 mins prior to your drop-in time.
