Pool Closure Update: June 27, 2024

Our team and construction crews are still working hard to complete the warranty work and maintenance project. At the same time, we are monitoring when we can responsibly refill and reopen the pool in accordance with the City of Calgary’s request to keep pools closed to conserve water.

Thanks to all the hardworking crews throughout the city for helping to get our water flowing again!

Q: Is there any ability to repurpose the pool water during warranty and maintenance work?

A: Team Vivo has worked with all of our industry and civic partners to find a solution. At this time, a solution could not be reached that would repurpose or use the water that meets health and safety or environmental standards.

Q: What happens if Vivo is not permitted to refill the pools after the warranty work and maintenance project is complete?

A:  If water restrictions remain in place by the time maintenance is complete, we will investigate options to ensure we are prepared to reopen once restrictions are lifted.

We appreciate your understanding and support as we navigate these challenges together.
