Dear Members and Guests,
We want to inform you about an unexpected situation late yesterday during public swim. Due to a liquid fecal contamination in our leisure pool, we have had to temporarily close the pool while our team addresses the issue.
Our dedicated staff is actively working on the clean-up process, but it’s still too early to provide a specific reopening time. We expect to have more clarity by Sunday afternoon.
In the meantime, all scheduled lessons will continue in the Lane pool as planned.
For transparency, here’s some context: While some types of contamination can be resolved quickly, others may require extended cleaning. In this case, we are vacuuming the pool and implementing hyper-chlorination to significantly increase chlorine levels to 15–25 ppm, compared to the usual 2 ppm. The last similar incident required around 20 hours for the cleaning process to be completed, but this duration can vary based on several factors.
We will continue to keep you updated as soon as we have more concrete information. Please refer to our website for real-time alerts and updates posted in the News and Alerts section.
Thank you for your patience and understanding.
