In our continued effort to enhance the experience for all guests and members at Vivo, we are introducing updates to our Visitor Policy that will take effect from October 7th, 2024. These updates are designed to improve access, safety, and convenience for everyone who visits our facility.
Key Updates to the Visitor Policy:
1. Age-Specific Vivo facility access rules:
- Registered participant under 18 may be accompanied by one parent or guardian over the age of 18. We have seating throughout the facility that will allow viewing for the aquatics area.
- Those with accompanying small children under 9 are allowed access to the viewing and changing areas.
2. Pool Deck Regulations:
- One parent/guardian per registered participant is permitted in the designated viewing area.
- A strict zero-tolerance policy will be enforced regarding outdoor footwear on the deck. You may be asked to leave the pool deck area for failure to adhere to the outdoor footwear policy.
3. Barcode Activation for Non-Members:
- For non-members, barcodes will be activated 30 minutes prior to the scheduled session time. This update will streamline check-ins and ensure timely access to our facilities. Access to the facility for lessons for registered aquatics programs should be done through the upstairs West Guest Services.
4. How to Retrieve Your Barcode from Vivo.ca:
- Go to MY ACCOUNT on the Vivo website to access the online portal.
- Enter the email you previously used and follow the instructions to reset your password, if needed.
- Use the drop-down button next to your photo and select My Barcodes.
- Select the correct barcode for the guest signed up for programs.
- You can save this barcode on your mobile device for future use, or it can be printed.
- Please note, this barcode will only grant access for the registered program.
- The guest and one visitor will be able to access the facility 30 minutes prior to the session using this barcode.
- Barcodes can be used at both the East and West entrances of the Guest Services desk.
Note: Please ensure that you retrieve your barcode before the beginning of your first class, as barcodes are required for entry into the facility. Your access to the facility may be delayed without your barcode.
Lessons missed will not be refunded.
