At Vivo, we love hearts – we especially love keeping hearts healthy and happy. While there are risk factors that are out of our control, there are many lifestyle factors that we can take actionable steps to do our best and keep our hearts healthy. Heart disease affects approximately 2.4 million Canadian adults and is the second leading cause of death in Canada. For women, it is the leading cause of death worldwide and top cause of premature death in women in Canada. Learn more on the risks specific to women.
