Play Is Everywhere This Summer.

Summer is about getting out into nature with family and friends in the great outdoors! You’ve told us connecting in-person, personal time, being in nature and inspiring your children to learn new things is important to your well-being. We loved your insights and are excited to offer three experiences to play together in a healthy and safe manner.

Note-These experiences are not a part of our current memberships. We are targeting to re-activate all regular memberships by September 1, 2020. Stay tuned for more details about our re-opening plans to be shared in the next couple of weeks!

Steps to Pay & Sign up for Vivo’s Summer Experiences

Step 1- Register & Pay:  

Go to the register button below for any of our summer experiences.

If you already have a Vivo account please login using your email address and password.

If you do not have a Vivo account currently, please create one.

  • Experience Selection: Once you log in, select ‘program search and then choose the category ‘Summer Fitness Pass, Little Kids Summer Adventures and Family Date Nights’.  You can then choose your experience(s).
  • Payment: Once registered, please follow the steps for payment.  Please feel free to apply any online credits you may have on your existing account.

Step 2-Complete an Online Waiver: waivers must be completed prior to any individual visiting or participating in an experience with Vivo.

Step 3- Activate the App and Pre-book Fitness Class Spots: If you have purchased the Summer Fitness Pass Option download and activate the Mywellness App to pre-book your spot for any online and in-person group fitness classes as well as designated fitness centre workout times when it re-opens. Note-Pre-booking your spot is important to be compliance with Alberta Health Authority orders and we want to also provide a positive and seamless experience for you.

  • Upon payment confirmation, you will then have your app activated within 24 hours.
  • Once your Mywellness app is activated (you will receive an email), please follow these steps attached in the pdf to set up your profile, pre-book your spot in classes and use the app features.

Experience #1:  Summer Fitness Pass

OPTION #1: SUMMER FITNESS PASS (Current Members) 

We know you are missing your workouts and ways to unwind, reach your goals and connect with friends.  We wanted to offer you an exclusive fitness pass for July-August which gives access to your favourite fitness classes online at Virtual Vivo and outdoors in-person with us. You’ll pre-book your workout and do classes in our newly configured ‘boutique’ fitness centre coming soon!

BONUS #1: Because we truly value you as member, the last two weeks of August are on us so the price is only $80/person. This fee is prorated.

BONUS #2: We’re also offering a child care for ages 4Y+ for outdoor classes you can add on as an option so your kids can play at the same time you do!

OPTION #2 SUMMER FITNESS PASS- NEW MEMBERS (General Public)

Looking for ways to workout, unwind, reach your goals and connect with friends this summer? We’re offering a fitness pass for July-August which gives access to try weekly fitness classes online at Virtual Vivo and outdoors in-person with us. You’ll pre-book your workout and do classes in our newly configured ‘boutique’ fitness centre coming soon! Sign up for only $120+GST/person. This fee is prorated.

BONUS: We’re also offering a child care for ages 4Y+ for outdoor classes you can add on as an option so your kids can play at the same time you do!

Experience #2: Little Kids Summer Adventures

Join us Monday and Wednesday mornings for a joyful play and learning experience.  Children 3-5 years old can play, share ideas, learn ABC’s, get physically active and explore new things hands-on with art, nature and the world around them in a safe manner.  This will include both indoor and outdoor activities within a group setting of up to 9 children. $48+GST/weekly/child

Experience #3: Family Date Nights

Invite up to 9 of your family members or friends for a play experience where the adults can work out and the children can play.  Or have an experience with 9 of your family members and friends where everyone can play together in Vivo’s backyard with a certified instructor.  This backyard experience includes activities like fort-building, sport games, art adventures, mud kitchen 101 and how to’s you can try at home. $99 +GST/per family date night.

Summer Experience Partnerships

Alien In-Line 2020

Alien In-Line offers summer camps for kids aged 6 to 12 built around the activity of inline skating, as well as inline instruction integrated with third party group camp activities, during the summer months.

Alien In-Line expert instructors will provide an exciting and fun summer camp experience! We’ll begin by introducing and reviewing a variety of basic skating skills to ensure everyone can enjoy the camp activities at a similar level. Further, to build & develop participant’s skating abilities, a significant amount of time will be spent on skate activities and playing some of our original & fun AIL games on skates! We’ll also introduce some unique tricks and special skills during the camp.

Participants can expect lots of skating time with 2 x 90 min. skating sessions daily. In between skating sessions, traditional camp activities will be incorporated, as well as a lunch period and occasional rest break. A skater to instructor ratio of approximately 12 to 1 will ensure a good deal of individual attention for each participant.

Discussion & review regarding use of gear, skate maintenance and set-up, and proper warm-up and preparation for skating will also be part of camp.

When is Vivo re-opening to the public?

We’re working behind the scenes to get things in place to re- open our facility in phases. We’re committed to doing what’s right to support our community, employees and Vivo’s long-term health. We can’t wait to learn what you are looking forward to most and what more Vivo can do to help you live your best life. Is Vivo still charging my membership on a monthly basis?

When we temporarily closed on March 16, 2020. We suspended all current memberships and no additional fees have been charged to your account. Memberships payments for the month of March came out on March 2 and no further charges have taken place after March 16. Is Vivo providing subsidy options for the Summer Experiences?

Please email programs@vivo.ca to discuss subsidy options. We recognize everyone has personal circumstances and our staff will work with you to figure out solutions that best suit you or your family’s healthy lifestyle needs.

If I’m already signed up on Virtual Vivo can I change to get a Summer Fitness Pass?

Yes. Virtual Vivo services are renewed monthly with customers. Starting June 29 you can sign up and pay for the Summer Fitness Pass Option online at https://vivo.legendonlineservices.ca/enterprise/account/login

What health and safety protocols are in place for Vivo’s Summer Experiences?

Your experience is our top priority. We’ve put protocols in place across all services we are offering to ensure you have a positive experience in a healthy and safe manner. During our summer experiences you’ll see: - Pre-screen Health Check, Participant Protocols and Healthy Habits Education - One Way travel routes for accessing any outdoor and indoor spaces will be in-effect - Each group using a space will have their own equipment/toys - Social distancing of people of 2-3 metres will be enforced

Is the Summer Fitness Pass part of people’s current membership or is it a separate pass?

The Summer Fitness Pass is not a part of your current membership. It’s a separate pass we are offering our current members for July and August only at a special rate of $80/person including access to online, outdoor and in- person fitness classes only. We are targeting to re-activate all regular memberships by September 1, 2020 as we resume full operations. Stay tuned for more details about our re-opening plans to be shared in the first part of July.

If I have a Vivo pre-paid annual membership what happens to my account when it is re-activated when Vivo re-opens?

Your membership will be extended as per the duration of our closure (ie. 5 months). We are targeting to re-activate all regular memberships by September 1, 2020 as we are resume full operations. Your pass would be extended 5 months to February 1, 2021. Stay tuned for more details about our re-opening plans to be shared in the first part of July.

If I have a Vivo monthly Continuous Membership what happens to my account when Vivo re-opens?

We are targeting to re-activate all types of memberships by September 1, 2020 as we are resume full operations. We temporarily closed on March 15, 2020. We put all memberships accounts on ‘hold’ on March 16,2020. As part of our re-opening plans that will be shared in the first part of July, we will offer you the opportunity to access our facility for two weeks prior to re-activing your membership on September 1 so you receive the full “value” of your pass from March 16-31, 2020.
