Nothing should get in the way of play! Everybody Plays removes financial barriers of recreation for children, youth, adults and families. Every year we make joining Gen H a reality for more than 2300 children and adults.  The program includes:

Fee Assistance Pass Subsidy

City of Calgary LogoIndividuals who qualify as part of The City of Calgary’s Fair Entry/Fee Assistance Program receive a 50% subsidy on prepaid and continuous passes.



  • Submit an application to The City of Calgary. Applications are available at Vivo, any City of Calgary facility or online.
  • If approved, visit a City of Calgary facility to receive your Fee Assistance card.
  • Bring your Fee Assistance card to Vivo Guest Services and you will receive a continuous pass with a 50% subsidy.
  • Fee Assistance customers must re-apply each year to The City of Calgary.

Canadian Tire Jumpstart 


Canadian Tire Jumpstart logoFair Entry/Fee Assistance participants aged 4-18 may be eligible for a subsidy on eligible Vivo sport and recreation programs.

Note: If you receive Jumpstart assistance from other organizations these Vivo subsidies go towards your overall Jumpstart maximum.

KidsSport Logo

KidSport Calgary offers financial assistance for registration fees and equipment for children aged 18 and under. For more information please visit their website.


Comrie's Sports Equipment Bank

Comrie’s Sports Equipment Bank (CSEB) is a Calgary-based charity that outfits kids, from low-income families across Southern Alberta, with FREE sports equipment. Kids do not need to be registered in a sport to access this program. CSEB has a wide variety of sports equipment and strives to get kids active by providing their families with the proper equipment to stay safe and have fun!

All entries, along with publications and reproduction rights, become the property of Vivo and/or Nose Creek Sports and Recreation Association. Vivo will not provide notice to the writer of any stories submitted prior to re-producing or re-publishing the story in any print, online and video-based marketing materials. Vivo and/or Nose Creek Sports and Recreation Association reserves the right to use the entries in the future, indefinitely.

The author must provide an original story written by the author and will indemnify Vivo against any actions, proceedings, claims, demands or litigation brought against the Vivo for the use of the story. The author is the legal representative or has received a testimonial release for all names mentioned in the story. They herby grant Vivo permission to use and publish their story with mentioned names as they appear in the submission, including their minor child and/or children and other immediate family and their likeness. Vivo reserves the right to edit or refuse publication of any story based on inappropriate language or content and will not provide notice before doing so.
