Affordable Access to Healthier Generations

Vivo’s Everybody Plays program and partnerships make active living more accessible by offering subsidized rates on memberships, admissions, and programs. These programs support individuals and families facing financial barriers, ensuring more people can connect, play, and thrive in our community.

    You can give the gift of play to your neighbours in need by donating to Everybody Plays. Your donation will remove financial barriers, giving your neighbours access to Vivo and a chance to live a healthy, active, and more connected life.

City of Calgary Fair Entry Program

Underrepresented families and individuals can access Vivo for 50% OFF thanks to Vivo’s Everybody Plays Subsidy and the City of Calgary Fair Entry program.

  1. Get Your Fair Entry Letter: Apply through the City of Calgary.
  2. Bring Your Fair Entry Letter to Vivo: Show us your Fair Entry Letter and we’ll set up your account right away.

Vivo's Everybody Plays Subsidy Program

We all benefit from moving more and connecting with neighbours and nature. At Vivo, we ensure access for all by collecting donations and developing partnerships to break down barriers to healthy living.

Once you qualify for the City of Calgary Fair Entry program, Vivo’s Everybody Plays subsidy program enables you to receive access to memberships at a discounted rate.

KidSport Calgary

KidSport provides grants to kids from families facing financial barriers so they can participate in registered sport programs and experience the lifelong benefits of a season of sport. KidSport Calgary & Area provides grants of up to $500 per eligible child, per year (January 1 – December 31) towards sport registration fees.

Apply online through the Kidsport Canada website to begin your process for subsidized funding for your child’s programs at Vivo!

Affordability Grant for Childcare Programs

Vivo’s Preschool is a licensed childcare program; therefore, our fees qualify for the Affordability Grant through the Government of Alberta.

No application is necessary! Vivo applies for the grant on your behalf and $100 is automatically removed from each family’s preschool fees every month before you are charged.

Calgary Flames Sports Bank

Calgary Flames Sports Bank is a Kidsport Calgary program that outfits kids, from low-income families across Southern Alberta, with FREE sports equipment. Kids do not need to be registered in a sport to access this program. They have a wide variety of sports equipment and strive to get kids active by providing their families with the proper equipment to stay safe and have fun!

Easter Seals Canada Access 2 Card Program

Vivo is part of the Access 2 Program, a partnership between Easter Seals for people of all ages who have a permanent disability and require the assistance of a support person to access Vivo without any added financial burden.

Fee Assistance & Subsidy Policy

  • If a subsidy is provided, it is non-transferable, has no cash value, and in the event of program or membership cancellation, the recipient is not eligible for a refund or credit on account.
