Idea Commons
Located in the Genstar Wing off our West entrance, this space is a shared with Vivo’s administration offices. This flexible and fully accessible space with carpeting and high ceilings can hold up to 30 people. It is ideal for meetings, learning sessions or offsite activities for children that require an open space, and comes with white boards, and a large monitor that can hook up to your computer.

Play Lab & Sapling Plaza
Located in the Preschool Hallway, this one of-a-kind, flexible and inviting space is set up for children in the daytime and can be rented out in the evenings or on weekends. Looking for an outdoor option? This space comes complete with a private deck called the Sapling Plaza!

Curiosity Room
Located in the Preschool Hallway off our West entrance, our two preschool rooms are perfect for kid’s lessons that require seating, or for birthday events. These bright and inviting rooms come with tables and chairs perfectly sized for your preschool-aged child. This space is only available evenings and weekends during the school year. During summer months, this space is available during regular facility hours.

Courage Room
Located in the Preschool Hallway off our West entrance, our two preschool rooms are perfect for kid’s lessons that require seating, or for birthday events. These bright and inviting rooms come with tables and chairs perfectly sized for your preschool-aged child. This space is only available evenings and weekends during the school year.

Learning Commons
Located beside the West entrance, the Learning Commons is a carpeted, fully accessible space that can hold 25 people. This space is ideal for meetings, learning sessions or off-site activities for children that require an open space. This room has access to a whiteboard, flip chart, and TV/monitor. Options for room configuration include Board Room, Theatre, Classroom, Collaboration and Active Open Space.

Connection Commons
Dive into learning at Connection Commons, our newly opened pool classroom conveniently located next to the Aquatic Center. This dedicated learning space offers an inviting approach to education, equipped with modern amenities including a convenient kitchenette for lunches and a TV with HDMI connectivity. Immerse yourself in a vibrant learning environment where innovation meets comfort, making every session a dynamic and enriching experience.

Community Commons
Connect with colleagues, friends and family in our welcoming and safe meeting spaces. Vivo Centre’s multipurpose rooms are called ‘commons’ because they’re for the whole community. They’re places to connect to community and find common ground. The Commons are great for birthday parties, community meetings, family events, smaller corporate gatherings and more!
Community Commons features a kitchenette, storage cabinets, mobile tables/chairs, and TV with HDMI connectivity. This room also has the capability to open it’s glass doors on to our Indoor Park for community engagement.

Accessibility
Our community and meeting rooms come in all shapes and sizes. They offer barrier-free access, flexible furnishings to accommodate different types of bodies and abilities, and have livestream capabilities for those who find it easier to participate from afar.
Vivo Standards of Conduct
- Treat all staff and fellow guests with respect.
- All children under 10 years must be with a guardian aged 16 years or older at all times.
- Proper swim attire is required in the Aquatic Centre. No outdoor wear or undergarments.
- Children 3 years or younger and any incontinent swimmers must wear swim diapers and waterproof plastic pants.
- Please remember to bring a lock and lock your possessions.
- Lockers are for day use only.
- No smoking or vaping.
- No pets. Registered service animals are permitted.
- Intoxicated or impaired guests not permitted. No outside alcohol permitted.
- No rough play or offensive language/behaviour. Vivo has zero tolerance for violence, abuse or harassment.
- Selfies are welcome, but photos or recordings of other guests without their consent are not.
- No photos or videos in or around the change room or Aquatic Centre.
- Glass bottles are not allowed.
- No open food permitted in the activity areas.
- Do not use pools, hot tub, or sauna if you have experienced diarrhea within the past 2 weeks.
- Vivo is not responsible for items left unattended.
