We all benefit from physical activity and social connection, regardless of age, ability, or background. At Vivo, we’re working hard to remove barriers to get people moving and connecting more.

Vivo’s Everybody Plays makes healthy living more affordable by removing financial barriers for Calgarians on a budget.

Vivo Everybody Plays Subsidy Rates

Once you qualify for the City of Calgary Fair Entry, Vivo’s Everybody Plays subsidy enables you to receive access to Vivo memberships at a 50% discounted rate.

Accessing Vivo's Everybody Plays Program is as Easy as 1, 2, 3!

1. Obtain a Fair Entry Letter through the City of Calgary

The City of Calgary will ask you to provide identification and proof of income to verify your eligibility. Learn more by visiting www.calgary.ca, calling 3-1-1, or emailing fairentry@calgary.ca.

Please note that Vivo is not part of this process, and we have no influence over Fair Entry decisions.

2. Once approved, bring your Fair Entry Letter to Vivo

Show your City of Calgary Fair Entry Letter and receive 50% off the cost of an annual pre-paid membership or a Continuous membership. You will be asked to provide identification and to add a credit card to set up your Vivo account. From there, we can take your photo and set you up for your membership on the spot!

3. Play your way at Vivo!

Subsidy Membership Rates

Once you qualify for the City of Calgary Fair Entry, Vivo’s Everybody Plays subsidy enables you to receive access to Vivo memberships at the 50% discounted rate listed below. All Vivo members get access to Vivo’s registered programs at a 15% discounted rate.

Subsidy Annual Memberships are prepaid.

Subsidy Monthly Continuous Memberships are charged monthly, with a four-month minimum commitment.

Note: A Set Up Fee of $75 applies to all NEW memberships. All rates include GST, except for child and youth rates where GST does not apply. A Household Membership requires all members to live at the same address. Household members aged 18+ must provide proof of address.

Understanding the Set Up Fee

A Set Up Fee of $75 helps enhance the guest experience and applies to all new prepaid annual, continuous and subsidized memberships. The Set Up Fee is applicable once per physical address. This fee allows us to streamline payment processing and make continuous improvements that directly benefit you. We’ll use it to upgrade our systems, adopt new technologies, and optimize our services to serve you better. Rest assured, we’ve carefully assessed this fee to ensure fairness and transparency.

Renewing Your Membership

If your membership is ending soon, you can renew it within 60 days without being charged the fee again. Simply renew in person at Vivo to waive the fee. If you renew online within 60 days, the $75 fee will be charged initially, but we’ll reimburse it to you during your next visit. To avoid this refund process, please visit at Guest Services desk for membership renewals within 60 days of expiration.

If your membership has been expired for more than 60 days, you’ll need to purchase a new membership, and the Set Up Fee will be applied.
