Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) is suitable for people wishing to enhance their general physical and mental wellbeing.
Mindfulness is a form of awareness training with a focus on non-judgmental awareness to the present moment. Cognitive Behaviour Therapy is designed to bring awareness to the habitual negative thinking that leads to depressive and anxious patterns of mind. Combined, MBCT interrupts how we habitually react to situations, so we can choose to respond in more skillful ways. Classes start on October 15, 2017.
