Hi, I'm Aimee! I have a BSc in Nutrition and Physical Activity and recently completed my professional status as a Human Ecologist (PHEc). Being a part of the 4 in 1 team for over two years has fueled my passion for people and health promotion, specifically children and youth. One of my favourite things about this program is the opportunity to build relationships with not only the kids but their families as well! I also enjoy working with our instructors to help create a purpose driven program, aimed at increasing children's enjoyment of physical activity. When I'm not teaching 4 in 1 I can be found cooking in the kitchen, hiking or snowboarding in the mountains, or roaming the prairies on horseback. If you want to know more about the 4 in 1 Physical Literacy Program, let's connect!

I am a firm believer in all things active and healthy, especially for youth. My dream is to become a gym and health teacher to change the lives of as many students as I can. When I am not at Vivo or at school I enjoy cooking and baking, walking my dog, and going to Ikea.

Coordinator, Innovative Programs

Hello! My name is Cole and I'm the Coordinator of Innovative Programs at Vivo! I've been a part of the 4 in 1 program for the past two years and I absolutely love it. I was introduced to this program during my final year at the University of Calgary where I earned my degree in Health Sciences with an Honours in Health and Society. Specifically, my education was centered on health promotion and disease prevention. I ended up writing my Honours Thesis about the 4 in 1 program and physical literacy! One of my favourite things about the 4 in 1 program is the opportunity it gives me to bond with the kids I teach, as I'm with them through all different kinds of environments! I feel lucky I am able to help create an encouraging atmosphere for children where they can build their confidence and competence across a variety of skills! This year has been especially great as I've been able to work closely with our instructors to ensure maximum movement time in all of our 4 in 1 classes as well as help create a program that encourages children to be active for life. In my free time I love getting out to the mountains to ski and hike. I also enjoy painting, drawing and graphic design! If you want to know more about the 4 in 1 Physical Literacy Program, I'd love to connect with you!

4 in 1 Physical Literacy Instructor

Hello I am Leanne, a new instructor to the 4 in 1 Physical Literacy program here at vivo. What caught my attention about this program is the emphasis it places on creating a balance between activity and fun. Through this program I hope to promote an active and healthy lifestyle to these kids. I wish to encourage them to see activity as a way to have fun so that they can pursue a healthy lifestyle on their own one day, and hopefully pass it on to their children as well. I have been involved in sports my whole life from competitive soccer to recently joining a hockey team! I love hiking and hope to live in the mountains one day. I love trying new things and my favourite food is sushi!
