A new software system, fit for you!

We have switched to a new software system!

Registration starts soon!

Last week we encountered a few things, so to help you overcome any obstacles, here are the learnings:

Error Code 503 – this error code comes up when the serve is full. Generally, this may happen in the first hour or so of registration, as this tends to be our busiest time. It could potentially happen again though, depending on online traffic. When this error appears please continue to refresh your screen until you can access the system. Once there is capacity you will get in and be able to use the site. It may pop up again throughout the registration process, continue pressing refresh, NOT BACK, and you should refresh to the same page you were on.

Secure Site/Unsafe Site Message – this message comes up when a firewall is blocking our site. Often times when you are trying to register at work or from an organization this will come up. If this is the case, try your phone or tablet (our new system is completely responsive on mobile devices) or register from home. If neither of these are options please call Guest Services at 403-532-1013-0 and we will do all we can to help!

Credit Card Information NEEDS to be updated!

Do you have a Continuous Pass or scheduled payments for a program? To keep your payment information secure we do not keep copies of credit card information. Your credit card details must be entered directly into our new software system. Please stop by Guest Services BEFORE February 26th to update your payment information and avoid any delays in your play time!
*Vivo Team Members would NEVER ask for this information over the phone! If you receive a phone call asking you for credit card details please hang up and call our Guest Services Desk directly 403-532-1013-0

What do you need to know now?
  • Online registration is not available until March 21st
  • Online registration for Little Kids Active Learners (LKAL) will begin March 14th
  • Online registration will be open for Spring/Summer Registration and will begin March 21st for Dryland (including Camps) and March 28th for Swimming!

What can you do to help with the change?
  • Stop by Guest Services when you are in and ensure all of your contact information is up to date! Keep an eye on our website and social media for more updates!

Why the Change?

This change comes for a few reasons, the number one being you've been telling us you want a better user experience - we are hopeful our new system will deliver just that!
  1. Our new system's user web portal is much more user friendly! This means more access to receipts, past-registration history, transactions and so much more.
  2. It will unite Gigasports, our online Drop-In Schedule and Program Registration all to one place – you will only need one username and password to access all options!
  3. Our current software is no longer being updated or supported – we  needed to change our software as our current one is no longer an option! Our current software has served us well for the last twelve years but we look forward to many years of success with our new system!
  4. And we aren’t the only ones switching! Many other Calgary area facilities will be switching over to the same system as us, so choosing to go with a program that will also be used city-wide will ease user frustrations and allow for shared learnings across organizations!
