Skating takes place in the Vivo Arena, located at the east side of the building.

  • Arrive 30 minutes prior to your lesson

  • Get ready in designated change room

Other good things to know:

  • Parent & Tot Skating: all parents participating in lessons with their child must be a confident skater
  • Street shoes and bike helmets are not allowed on the ice
  • It is recommended that parents watch lesson from the stands, not the players' boxes
  • There are no refunds for missed classes

What to wear:

  • All participants are required to wear CSA approved hockey helmet (full face mask is recommended)
  • Hockey or figure skates (plastic skates not recommended)
  • Warm clothing in layers, snow pants, winter gloves or mittens
In order to make skating more accessible, we encourage you to ask other families if they have any outgrown skates to sell or trade.
Below are some locations to buy second hand and or new skates. Skate prices range from  $40- $60 for used skates and $70 & up for new skates.
